Privacy and cookie policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Invisible Air Con collects through this website, how we use it and the rights you have. We keep the information we collect to a minimum and we never sell it.

Who we are

Invisible Air Con (“we”, “us”) operates invisible-aircon.co.uk and is the data controller for the personal information described here. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us at info@invisible-aircon.co.uk or on 020 4629 4896.

The information we collect

  • Details you give us. When you use our contact form, email or call us, we collect your name, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us about your property and project.
  • Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, with the date and time. This is used to keep the site secure and working.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, arrange a consultation and prepare a quotation. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
  • To carry out work you have asked us to do, including design, installation, invoicing and aftercare. Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you.
  • To keep records we are required to keep, for example for tax and accounting. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.
  • To keep the website secure. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the site and its visitors.

We will only send you marketing messages if you have asked for them, and you can stop them at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is needed:

  • with companies that provide services to us, such as website hosting, email and IT support, who act on our instructions;
  • with the system manufacturer and trusted installation partners, where that is needed to design or carry out your project;
  • with our professional advisers, or with regulators and authorities, where the law requires it.

Other services this website loads

To display correctly, this website loads fonts from Google Fonts, icons from Font Awesome and some case study photographs from Invisible.AC. When your browser requests these files, those providers receive your IP address and basic browser details, as they would for any website visit.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards allowed under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to two years, so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.
  • Customer and project records are kept for six years after the work is completed, for accounting, warranty and legal reasons.

After that, the information is securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information, or to restrict how we use it;
  • object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests;
  • ask for your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email info@invisible-aircon.co.uk. We will reply within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

The only cookies it uses are strictly necessary ones, such as security cookies and the cookies set when a site administrator logs in to manage the website. Because these are essential to running the site, the law does not require us to ask for your consent, but we want you to know about them.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work for visitors if you do.

If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, for example to measure how the website is used, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Children

This website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
